Construction of the Vocation Facility for the Puerto Plata School for the Deaf. This new facility will host training in woodworking, ceramics, sewing, beautician and computers. Equipment provided via a grant from the Rotary Foundation, West Ottawa RC. |

Participation in the “Children’s Safe Water Project” Providing home filtration, treatment and education in the Dominican Republic and Haiti. Working with Rotary, Add Your Light Foundation, the Peace Corps and others. |

Escuela “Una Luz en el Camino”, Puerto Plata. Economic assistance to non-profit school providing education to impoverished elementary school children. Many of the children are undocumented and can not attend public schools.

Community Center in EL Cinco, San Cristobal province. Funding for the construction of the only community building serving 100 families. Built in conjunction with and used by the neighborhood association, Catholic and Protestant churches. |

Assistance with the construction of low cost housing with Add Your Light Foundation. The recipient is a HIV infected single mother of three. Since the donation the woman has regained much of her health and conducts community education programs concerning HIV and AIDS.
