OBJECTIVE- Project Las Americas provides humanitarian assistance directly and to other non-profit organizations, enhancing the well being and providing hope and opportunities to the disadvantaged. Our primary target is the Dominican Republic but may assist in projects within any part of the Americas through:
· Education and cultural support · Health awareness and improvement · Youth activities · Humanitarian Assistance
OPERATIONS- The Foundation pays no board members for services rendered. The Foundation Director will agree to contribute an amount equal to or greater of all normal administrative costs of the Foundation. As a result 100% of all outside donations will go to humanitarian projects.
We may employ personnel, such as teachers, health professionals and institution administrators to work in or operate programs which we support. We may also pay for logistical expenses incurred in implementing projects such as transportation and customs.
Legal expenses arising from actions taken in support of a project, by our organization, directors and staff, are not considered administrative and may be paid by Project Las Americas, should they occur. |
